Petrol prices up, diesel down for May

UAE petrol prices for May 2024 rose by 6 to 6.5 per cent or 19 fils per litre, while diesel prices dropped by 0.5 per cent or two fils per litre.

The price of Super 98 rose by 6.2 per cent or 19 fils to Dhs3.34 per litre for May compared to Dhs3.15 per litre in April, while the price of Special 95 rose by 6 per cent or 19 fils to Dhs3.22 per litre for May compared to Dhs3.03 per litre in April.

The price of E-Plus 91 rose by 6.5 per cent or 19 fils to Dhs3.15 per litre for May compared to Dhs2.96 per litre for April.

The price of diesel slightly dropped by 0.5 per cent or two fils to Dhs3.7 for May compared to Dhs3.09 per litre for April.
