A passenger died on a Dubai-Dhaka flight, the airline has confirmed.
According to the flydubai, the flight made an emergency landing at Karachi but the passenger died in midair.
flydubai confirm that its flight FZ 523 from DXB to Dhaka Airport (DAC) on Feb.18 was diverted to Karachi Airport (KHI) on medical emergency.
The airline has extended its condolences to the family of a passenger.
The authorities have not revealed the cause of the death. An investigation has been launched into the incident.
The flight took off on time, but was scheduled to land in Dhaka at 8.30pm.
The authorities said after the incident, the aircraft left for Dhaka at 8:17pm Karachi time.
On the other hand, an Air India Express flight from Dubai to Thiruvananthapuram (Flt no IX540) made an emergency landing at the airport on Sunday morning after the flight developed a technical snag in the nose wheel of the aircraft.
All 156 passengers on board the flight are safe.
The Air India Aircraft made an emergency landing at 5.40 a.m. after the pilot contacted the air traffic control requesting for an emergency landing.
The airport immediately declared an 'emergency' at the airport and made all the arrangements at the airport.
The runway was cleared for emergency landing and the flight smoothly landed at the airport, sources in the airport told reporters.
