Abu Dhabi Police announced that 35% of the value of the traffic fines would be deducted if the fine is paid within 60 days of committing the violation, with the exception of serious violations.

Abu Dhabi Police called on drivers to take advantage of the “Bader wa Istafed” initiative, which also includes a 25% discount after 60 days and for a period of one year from its issuance, with the exception of serious violations.

Drivers can pay through Abu Dhabi Police service centres and digital channels, such as the website and smartphone app, where fines can be paid in installments for one year with zero interest.

It is also possible to benefit from installments for fines through banks at zero interest for a period of 12 months, only by credit card issued by banks contracting with Abu Dhabi Police General Command.

Payment can also be made through the Abu Dhabi Government’s official platform, “Tamm,” or through customer service and happiness centres.

Abu Dhabi Police affirmed they are keen to facilitate payment procedures and to motivate community members to adhere to regulations and laws, reduce traffic fines, reduce the burdens incurred on them, and motivate vehicle owners to pay traffic fines promptly to ensure that they do not accumulate.
