UAE President condoles death of Saudi poet Prince Badr

The Saudi Royal Court on Saturday announced that Prince Badr Bin Abdulmohsin Bin Abdulaziz Al Saud had passed away outside the Kingdom.

President His Highness Sheikh Mohamed Bin Zayed Al Nahyan condoled the death of the renowned Saudi poet.

In a post on his X account, Sheikh Mohamed said “May God have mercy on the poet Prince Badr Bin Abdulmohsin Bin Abdul Aziz, and sincere condolences to his family and the brotherly Saudi people. He passed away after a long journey of creativity, leaving a long record of distinguished literary legacy.”

Prince Badr Bin Abdulmohsin passed away at the age of 75 after a struggle with illness.

The funeral prayer will be performed on Sunday (May 5, 2024) following the Asr prayer at the Imam Turki bin Abdullah Mosque in Riyadh, according to the Saudi Press Agency.
