10th UAE Cancer Congress opens in Dubai today

DUBAI: Under the patronage of Sheikh Nahyan Bin Mubarak Al Nahyan, Cabinet Minister, Minister of Tolerance in the UAE and President of the UAE Genetics Association, the 10th UAE Cancer Congress will open today, Oct.11, and continue until Oct.13 at the InterContinental Festival City Hotel, Dubai.

The conference, which is being held under the theme “Promoting Excellence in Oncology and Striking Away Cancer”, focuses on the latest developments in combating various types of cancer, raising the standards of medical care among specialists and doctors and providing optimal solutions for prevention by highlighting scientific developments and research in the field.

The conference serves the UAE national health agenda including a core mission of creation of a world-class healthcare infrastructure.

Reducing the number of deaths due to cancer is one of the key performance indicators of the pillar of world-class healthcare of the UAE National Agenda.
