Martyr Kaabi laid to rest

RAS AL KHAIMAH: His Highness Sheikh Saud Bin Saqr Al Qasimi, Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Ras Al Khaimah, on Thursday performed the funeral prayer for martyr Juma Mohammed Abdullah Al Kaabi, the UAE Ambassador to Afghanistan, who succumbed to his wounds sustained in a bomb blast by terrorists in Kandahar.

Other who performed the funeral prayer along with the Ras Al Khaimah Ruler were Sheikh Mohammed Bin Saud Bin Saqr Al Qasimi, Crown Prince of Ras Al Khaimah, Sheikh Khalid Bin Saud Bin Saqr Al Qasimi, Sheikh Saqr Bin Mohammed Bin Saqr Al Qasimi, senior officials, armed forces officers, diplomats, citizens and residents.

Martyr Al Kaabi was laid to rest at Wadi Al Qour cemetery in Ras Al Khaimah.

After the funeral service, Sheikh Saud said that martyr Al Kaabi was an ambassador of goodwill. He also prayed to Allah Almighty to rest the martyr’s soul and grant solace to his family.
