SHARJAH: The Sharjah Investment and Development Authority (Shurooq) recently treated members of the American Business Council (ABC) to a day out.
The trip to Sharjah’s Eastern Coast was aimed at engaging attendees in exciting activities while drawing attention to the region’s attractions and highlighting its various investment opportunities. The outing further aimed to introduce the ABC delegation to a number of Shurooq’s projects, in particular Khorfakkan and Kalba.
Marwan Bin Jassim Al Sarkal, CEO of Sharjah Investment and Development Authority (Shurooq), welcomed participants, including Ramsey Jurdi President of the American Business Council, and Khalid Al Haddad, Emirates Airlines District Manager for Sharjah and Northern Emirates to the trip. They were accompanied by Ahmed Obaid Al Qaseer, COO of Shurooq, Elie Armaly, Director of Business Development at Shurooq, Mohamed Juma Al Musharrakh, Head of Investment Promotion at Shurooq, as well as representatives from a number of government entities.
Shurooq’s delegation and representatives from the Environment and Protected Areas Authority (EPAA) explained that the Kalba Eco-tourism Project is in line with Shurooq’s social responsibility efforts and its strong belief in the preservation of environmental heritage.
