UoS, NPCC sign pact on job opportunities

SHARJAH: The University of Sharjah, UoS, and the National Petroleum Construction Company, NPCC, have signed a Memorandum of Understanding that aims to support and provide work, training, and professional development opportunities for UAE national students.

Hamid M.K. Al Naimiy, Chancellor of the University, signed the MoU on behalf of the University along with Ahmed Salem Al Dhaheri, Chief Executive Officer of the NPCC. Representing the University of Sharjah, Prof. Maamar Bettayeb, Vice Chancellor for Research and Graduate Studies, attended the signing along with Dr. Salah Taher, Vice Chancellor for Community Affairs, and William Matt Easdown, Vice Chancellor for Administrative and Financial Affairs. Representing the NPCC at the signing were Salem Al Seiari, Chief Finance Officer; Duaa Hassan, Senior Human Capital Manager; and Sanjay Tripathi, Head of Marketing & Corporate Communications. In his word during the MoU signing, Prof. Al Naimiy welcomed the attendees and expressed his pleasure in taking a step forward in supporting the University’s students by signing this MoU with the NPCC.

He stressed that, due to the support and guidance of H.H. Dr. Sheikh Sultan Bin Mohammed Al Qasimi, Supreme Council Member, Ruler of Sharjah and President of the University, the University of Sharjah has become a national platform that works to serve and develop the local community by graduating highly qualified and skilled professionals in the various modern scientific fields.
