DUBAI: St. Mary’s who lost against NIMS in the league match qualified to the semi finals as they won against ENS-Sharjah with a better score difference in the 15th NIMS Trophy Basketball Tournament.

Both NIMS Sharjah and Emirates National School Sharjah crashed out of the tournament by score difference. ENS beat NIMS-Sharjah 27-22 in the last league match of their pool.

Indian High School, Dubai also reached the Semi finals after defeating Leaders Private School, Sharjah 44-7.  Dhrumin Jasani top scored for Indian High with 16 points. The Model School, Abu Dhabi; Delhi Private School, Dubai and Our Own High School, Al Warqa joined NIMS-Dubai in the quarter final line up. Model School, Abu Dhabi defeated Global Indian International School, Dubai 61-15 and JSS Int’l School, Dubai in their pool matches.

Dubai Modern High School defeated Apple International School, Dubai in their first league match but lost against Delhi Private School, Dubai in a thrilling match which went in to the extra period. DPS led 17-13 at half time.
