RAS AL KHAIMAH: His Highness Sheikh Saud Bin Saqr Al Qasimi, Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Ras Al Khaimah, and Sheikh Mohammed Bin Saud Bin Saqr Al Qasimi, Crown Prince of Ras Al Khaimah, offered prayer for rain (Salat-al-Istisqa), at Khuzam Mosque this morning.

The prayer invoking Almighty Allah in supplication for rain is performed as per the tradition of Prophet Muhammed (Peace and Blessings of Allah be Upon Him) and was held in response to the call of President His Highness Sheikh Khalifa Bin Zayed Al Nahyan.

A number of Sheikhs, senior officials and a large number of worshipers including UAE citizens and residents also joined Sheikh Saud in the rain prayer.
