ABU DHABI: An official source at the General Command of the UAE Armed Forces on Thursday announced that Al Khokha city in Al Hudaydah governorate of Yemen has been completely liberated from the Iranian-backed Houthi militias, amid an overwhelming welcome from the people of the region.

The Yemeni resistance forces, backed by the UAE forces, within the Arab coalition moved forward in the early hours of Wednesday to liberate the coastal area from the grip of the Houthi militias.

The UAE Emirates Red Crescent has started implementing the relief plan, providing assistance to the residents of the liberated areas, who suffered from the occupation of militias.
