RAS AL KHAIMAH: Pink colour parking spaces have been allotted for women drivers in the emirate of Ras Al Khaimah.

Ras Al Khaimah Police Department took to social media to announce unique pink parking spaces for women drivers.

Lt. Col Waleed Kanafesh, Head of Al Mamoura Police Station, Ras Al Khaimah said: “The initiative is part of the process of distributing positions properly, granting women workers the right to obtain parking for their vehicles, enhancing their privacy and overcoming the difficulties they face in searching for parking in peak hours.”

He went on to add that this step was aimed at winning public satisfaction and finding ways and means of providing distinguished services of high quality.

He also says that to cater to the needs of the people, after understanding their situation, has been priority for them.
