Michael Jansen, a veteran and well-respected observer of Middle East affairs, has lived in the region for many years. A graduate of the American University of Beirut, Jansen has reported for newspapers and journals. She is the author of three books on the Arab-Israeli conflict and two on Cyprus. Michael joined The Gulf Today in 1996, the year of its launch.
