SHARJAH Theatres Group has moved a step forward to enhance communication with the public by launching an inclusive website which gives access to over 19 services online.
Following the launch of its new identity by the end of 2010, the Group has been dedicated to adopt technology and grow electronically.
With the new platform, the Group’s activities and programmes have become as close and simple as a click on the web.
Not only does the Group’s portal, available at www.stg.gov.ae, flaunts an ingenious design, advanced options, and developed services, but also integrates an extensive database on all the Group’s functions, activities, exhibitions and shows.
Reservation of the Group’s facilities across the cities of the emirate of Sharjah and subscription for the electronic magazine are also available on the website.
Director General of Sharjah Theatres Group Mohammed Hamdan Bin Jarsh said the Group’s gateway — which is available in Arabic and English — is easy to use.
“This is mainly due to the advanced search technology which gives swift and accurate access to the Group’s latest updates based on subject administration system.”
Bin Jarsh said the website reflects how keen the Group is to ease and enhance communication with the public, and update them with planned events and activities.
“The portal further gives the public a chance to coordinate with the Group’s ballrooms for advance reservation.”
The Group has utilised the latest technologies available to make the website an interactive gateway and help the public find the information requested in the shortest possible time.
“The public may now browse the website to get a better idea on the Group’s centres, update their information, or read the e-magazine and sign up to keep posted with the Group’s news, shows, albums and video clips,” Bin Jarsh added.
