ABU DHABI: “UAE businesswomen’s investments showed increment and it is expected to exceed Dhs15 billion, according to the latest statistics”, said Moza Saeed Bin Ahmed Al Otaiba, a member of the Executive Council of Abu Dhabi Businesswomen.
“These investments are distributed mainly among sectors such as financial markets, real estate and trade,” she said.
Al Otaiba mentioned that UAE Businesswomen, who exceeded 14 thousand, ran up to 20 thousand private companies, expressing her forecast that these numbers will raise between 5 - 10 per cent before the end of 2013.
“The growth in businesswomen’s numbers and the companies they run, is due to the strength and improvement of the national economy, which overcome the effects of the global financial crisis with less damages”, added Al Otaiba, founder of Al Otaiba Inmaa group of companies.
“As well, the approval of the UAE Government for a number of development projects in various economic fields, will encourage businesswomen to acquire their share in the implementation of these projects with a strong, consistent performance, and to participate in the national economic growth”, she continued.
