DUBAI: The BMW-Rivoli December medal was held at the Dubai Creek Golf and Yacht Club recently.

Over 80 players took part in the event. It was Rabih Sfeila who continued his excellent run of form and secured his second victory within just three days with a superb net 69.

Sfeila finished strongly and so managed to beat Mark Irwin on a count-back over the last 6 holes and Mansour Khodjasteh over the back nine.

Mark Irwin took top spoils in men’s division A with his 2-under par net 69 whilst Dave Gowans had a solid inward half to take the runner-up spot with a 1-under par net 70.

Although a disastrous triple bogey seven on the testing finishing hole did cost Gowans the overall title.
