Hospital launches ‘Hope Campaign’ for infertile parents

SHARJAH: A Sharjah-based hospital, specialising in  fertility and associated treatment, has announced its new initiative ‘Hope Campaign’ to provide free of cost treatment facility to infertile parents.

It was announced in the presence of officials from the Ministry of Health and Community Protection and dignitaries who visited the hospital on Wednesday.

The officials who toured the hospitals were Dr Yousef Mohammed Al-Sarkal, Undersecretary of the Ministry of Health, Dr Hassan Al-Azzawi, Consul General of Iraq in Dubai, Yousef Al-Harmoudi, Chairman of New Hope Hospital and a group of Dubai businesswomen and others.

“The ‘Hope campaign’ is launched by New Hope Hospital for Fertility and Gynecology under the patronage of the Minister of Health and Community Protection, and in conjunction with the declaration of 2017 the Year of Giving declared by His Highness President of the UAE. Our highly qualified staff have over 20 years of experience in the field of fertility and its related issues and are equipped with most sophisticated equipment,” said Walaa Estanbouli, Director of the hospital while talking to The Gulf Today.

She also emphasised the role and services provided by the hospital, where it always kept abreast of the latest scientific developments in the field of infertility and embryology. “The hospital has completed all the special requirements for obtaining JCI accreditation and has always provided treatment services at affordable prices. It also provides permanent support for some free cases for low-income salary,” she added.

On this occasion, the director of the hospital highlighted the importance of the partnership between the public and private sectors, charities and the UAE Red Crescent to provide the best medical services at the state level. The ‘Hope Campaign’ will provide support free cases every month as part of the drive, she said.

The guests toured the hospital and attended the briefing about all the sections of the hospital.

Dr Yousuf Al-Sarkal praised the success of the operations, which reached more than 60% and expressed his admiration for the level of medical services provided and the latest equipment used. He also praised the importance of partnership between public and private sectors.
