DUBAI: The Dubai Multi Commodities Centre (DMCC) hosted the Ambassadors of International Expo 2020 to brief them about the efforts being exerted to highlight the position of Emirate of Dubai as a commodity trade hub and of the role of UAE in international community.

Ahmed Bin Sulayem, Executive Chairman of DMCC, said the Dubai Expo 2020 theme is: “Connecting Minds...Creating the Future.”

As the authority in charge of the free zone of Jumeirah Lakes Towers, we link many international companies in the UAE and the Middle East and help them to expand their work.

Being the global gateway for commodity trade, he continued “we connect the industrialised and consuming countries, and support the movement of trade in goods and strengthen Dubai’s position as a global destination for trade at the same time.”

Exemplary destination

He added: “We wished our ambassadors will further promote the UAE as an exemplary destination to host Expo 2020”, citing that the DMCC is looking forward to supporting the ambassadors of Expo 2020 to highlight the potentials of the UAE.

The DMCC organised the tour for Expo 2020 envoys to Almas Tower, the headquarters of DMCC, where they visited many facilities.
