The Yemen News Agency, Saba, quoted a military source as saying that ‘’Yemeni Army artillery units and the popular resistance targeted several sites and hiding places of coup supporters in the northern mountains of Muazza’a Province, west of Taiz.”

The source also pointed out that a coup militia leader called Sajad Al Motawakkil was killed on Thursday in battles with the National Army and the popular resistance, supported by the Arab Coalition Air Force, on the frontlines in Muazza’a Province and the Jabal Ath Thawbani mountains in Taiz Governorate.

The source clarified that the Houthi leader was responsible for arming militia elements in the Khalid Camp front while a number of his companions fell with him in the Jabal Ath Thawbani Mountains.

He stated that battles are continuing on the frontlines in Muazza’a and at the edges of the Al Thawbani and Al Gharafi areas, highlighting the great progress of the Yemeni Army to achieve control over the whole area.
