Sultan hikes housing aid amount

SHARJAH: Further to his decision issued on Mar.4, to increase housing aid to the beneficiaries of housing assistance at the Government of Sharjah from Dhs650,000 to Dhs800,000, His Highness Dr. Sheikh Sultan Bin Mohammed Al Qassimi, Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Sharjah, has instructed Government of Sharjah’s Directorate of Housing to add to the list of beneficiaries the names approved in previous payments who have not started or have not yet completed building their houses.

This was announced by Eng. Khalifa Musbeh Al Tunaiji, Chairman of the Directorate of Housing and member of Sharjah Executive Council, in a telephone conversation with Mohammed Khalaf, Director General of Sharjah Media Foundation, through the Direct Line programme broadcast live on Sharjah Radio and TV.
