DUBAI: Following its success and achievements in the community service and awareness for six consecutive years, the Information City crowns the achievements of “Educate a Child, Build a Nation” initiative.

During this long period, the initiative witnessed great success and was welcomed by all society segments in the UAE collaborating with MTN, and the team of professionals, who have trained the young learners in the best practices and principles for the use of computers.

The Information City, under the patronage of its Chairman and Founder Sheikh Mohammed Bin Maktoum Bin Jumaa Al Maktoum, known for its support for many social and educational activities, concludes its “Educate a Child, Build a Nation” initiative, after working on improving the educational and cultural level of 6,000 students, between 9 and 13 years old, citizens and expatriates, who were trained at Etisalat Academy in Dubai, and many other educational institutions and centres in the UAE. The Information City concluded each session of the training programme with a ceremony, where certificates and modern computers were granted to all the young trainees.

On this occasion, Sheikh Mohammed Bin Maktoum Bin Juma Al Maktoum gave a speech at the ceremony, where he highlighted the progress and the successful achievements made over the past years.
