SHARJAH: Sharjah Ladies Club (SLC) calls on all fashion designers and experts to participate in the fourth edition of Ebriez Fashion Exhibition (Ebriez 2017), which is set to take place from Apr.27–29 at the Club’s Kunooz Events and Catering. This ladies-only event aims to support UAE-based fashion designers, and owners of small and medium sized enterprises (SMEs) operating in luxury fashion.

Sponsored by the Sharjah Environment Company (Bee’ah), 30 slots are available for exhibitors to participate in Ebriez 2017, to showcase the latest in ladies’ luxury fashion – abayas, kaftans, dresses, jewellery, perfumes, luxurious handmade leather handbags and shoes.

“We call all Emirati and resident fashion designers, as well as fashion entrepreneurs in the UAE to participate in the fourth Ebriez Fashion Exhibition, which is one of Sharjah’s and the UAE’s prominent fashion events. This is an invaluable opportunity to showcase their products and services to the Club’s members and visitors. The event is a strong platform for the promotion of self-owned fashion businesses, and will provide all exhibitors numerous opportunities to develop their clientele and grow their projects,” said Duaa Al Mahri, Head of Corporate Communication at SLC.

A luxury lifestyle event dedicated to fashion, food and charity, Ebriez 2017 has been designed to dedicate individual exhibit spaces to showcase all unique components of the show. A special corner will have pre-owned designer handbags on display. The proceeds generated from their sale will go to The Big Heart Foundation (TBHF), a Sharjah-based humanitarian initiative launched by the wife of His Highness the Ruler of Sharjah, Her Highness Sheikha Jawaher Bint Mohammed Al Qasimi, Chairperson of the Supreme Council for Family Affairs (SCFA), and The Big Heart Foundation.

Another section will feature food & beverage offerings, in addition to a lounging area for ladies to relax. Children will have fun at the kids’ corner where SLC’s Collage Talent Centre will host a series of fun activities like face-painting, manicures, and also showcase traditional arts and crafts. SLC’s Dalouk Spa and Orchid Beauty Boutique will have their exclusive collection of products and services on display. The SLC Branches management will also organise decorative embroidery set and découpage workshops.

Female fashion designers and fashion entrepreneurs interested in taking part can register before Apr.22 by calling 065067701.

Established in 1982, Sharjah Ladies Club - a subsidiary of the Supreme Council for Family Affairs - is dedicated to facilitating leisure and educational activities for women and children, providing them with a relaxing and nurturing place where they can learn, enjoy sports and partake in favourite hobbies.

SLC organises events that relate to society, art, health, fashion, beauty and charity, with its activities including bazaars, exhibitions, marathons, seminars, workshops and forums. The club, a unique leisure and learning space, is devoted exclusively to women.
