SHARJAH: His Highness Dr Sheikh Sultan Bin Mohammed Al Qasimi, Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Sharjah, on Wednesday welcomed at the University of Sharjah a delegation from Gallaudet University, a Washington DC-based university for the deaf and hard of hearing, led by its president Dr Alan Hurwitz.

The meeting, which was attended by Sheikha Jamila Bint Mohammed Al Qasimi, Director General of Sharjah City for Humanitarian Services (SCHS), explored mechanisms of boosting joint cooperation for improving services provided to deaf students.
