SHARJAH: His Highness Dr Sheikh Sultan Bin Mohammed Al Qasimi, Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Sharjah, signed on Sunday afternoon the co-operation agreement between Sharjah Museums Department and the French Universcience.

The President of Universcience Claudie Haignere signed on behalf of the French side.

The deal ushers in a future collaboration with France. It involves cooperation in the areas of science and technology.

Sheikh Sultan expressed his admiration of the French institution, stressing his keenness on the scientific cooperation.

Universcience is an organisation that contributes to and reports on scientific research in the fields of history of science, technology, museology and society and art.

It disseminates the culture of science and technology at both national and international levels.
