ABU DHABI: The Khalifa Fund for Enterprise Development (KF) has organised the Second Tajribaty (My Experience) for a number of projects funded by the KF.
Najla Al Midfa, Senior Manager, Entrepreneurship Development Department, presented a brief about the Khalifa Fund and its financial and non-financial services, as well as the goals that the Fund is trying to accomplish, including increasing awareness among young Emiratis of the importance of entrepreneurship and to present projects that can be added value for the national economy.
"The purpose of this activity is to convey experiences and knowledge between the entrepreneurs and to enhance the efficient connection between them in order to gain the advantage of their experiences, part of the Fund's attempt to spread the culture of entrepreneurship and enhance the innovative spirit in different society segments," said Al Midfa.
Meanwhile, Yousuf Al Marshoodi, Manager of the Khalifa Fund, Fujairah Branch, explained the procedure necessary to acquire the Fund's services as well as the support mechanism provided to its applicants. He encouraged youths to benefit from the privileges offered by His Highness Sheikh Khalifa Bin Zayed Al Nahyan, the President of UAE, which aim to empower Emiratis and improve their standard of life through providing them with financial opportunities to assist them in establishing their own businesses in order to successfully participate in the local economy.
During the event, owners of four entrepreneurial projects explained their successful experiences with the Khalifa Fund.
