DUBAI: In line with the Year of Zayed, the Dubai Health Authority, DHA, held an exhibition titled “Sports in the legacy of Sheikh Zayed”  at Al Wasl Club, where 100 rare sport-related historic pictures featuring the founding father of the UAE at various sports events were displayed.

Speaking at the inaugural Humaid Al Qutami, Chairman of the Board and Director-General of the DHA said the event was held to mark the Year of Zayed, announced by President His Highness Sheikh Khalifa Bin Zayed Al Nahyan, to commemorate this historic national occasion.

2018 marks 100 years since the birth of the late Sheikh Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan the founding father of the UAE who passed away in 2004.
