DUBAI: An exclusive Jewellery Lounge to promote Dubai’s diamond trading industry was officially unveiled in the emirate on Sunday. The concept is the first of its kind in the UAE, and the Middle East region. It will provide luxury personalised shopping experience, mainly to the VIP customers and ensure high level of confidentiality and security.
The Aastha jewellery Lounge was officially inaugurated by Sheikh Abdulla Zayed Saqr Al Nahyan during an exclusive and prestigious ceremony attended by a cross-section of VIPs and business executives and was hosted by the founder of Aastha Jewellery Lounge, Kamlesh Parekh.
An array of premium collection, designed by international designers was unveiled at the glittering function that was run along a fashion show where several models displayed a range of diamond works to the invited guests.
Speaking to The Gulf Today at the sideline of the ceremony, Parekh said that the UAE is a very important market for jewellery adding that the local community appreciated its value and craftsmanship.
He urged prestigious international jewellers and VIP customers to take advantage of the exclusive premium services being offered. Parekh added that the newly unveiled Lounge will provide customers with a unique shopping experience, and jewellers will also have the opportunity to showcase their latest work.
“After spending 24 years in the jewellery business, I am now a successful wholesaler of diamonds and jewellery to 90 per cent of the market in the UAE.
During this time I saw that customers, jewellers and traders needed an exclusive platform where they could gain easy access to their customers,” said Parekh.
Entry to the lounge will restrictly through invitations extended to VIP guests, allowing them exclusive access to the latest jewellery collections - which will not be available elsewhere in the market.
