Model found dead in Lahore

Lahore: A 25-year-old fashion model Anam Naveed Tanoli was found dead inside a house in Lahore’s Defence area on Saturday under mysterious circumstances.

Minister for Information and Broadcasting Fawad Chaudhry strongly condemned the incident.

The information minister asked IG Punjab to submit report of the incident.

In a statement Chaudhry said artists are the best assets of the country and they portray the real and soft image of the country on international forums.

The model and fashion designer was found dead in her house in Lahore’s Defence area.

According to details, the 25-year-old model was found hanging from the ceiling inside her room.

Subsequently, she was shifted to the Lahore General Hospital for medico-legal formalities.

Samples have been sent to a forensic lab to ascertain the cause of her death, said the local police. The forensic report will help determine whether she committed suicide or was murdered.

Tanoli was said to be under a lot mental stress and had recently returned from Italy after completing a fashion design course.
