Dubai: The Sharjah Police Department declared that the Al Ittihad Road from Dubai to Sharjah will be temporarily closed on Thursday, from 4am to 9am.

The Sharjah Police Department said, “Motorists driving on Al Ittihad Road to Sharjah will have to take a detour on Thursday. They will not be able to use Al Nahda exit opposite Al Ansar Mall, and will have to take an alternative route.” The closure is attributed to maintenance works.

As of 4pm on Wednesday interchange No.5 on Al Dhaid Road will be closed until 6pm on Saturday (Sept.15). Motorists are advised to use alternative routes in case they head towards Sharjah International Airport via Al Dhaid Road.
