UAE-India business conference next month

DUBAI: The 3rd edition of UAE-India business conference, ‘MahaBiz 2018’, will be held in Dubai from Oct.12-13. The conference is one of the most awaited events in the region for large and small business owners and professionals seeking to explore new opportunities for growth in and from the Indian state of Maharashtra.

MahaBiz 2018 will bring together businesses, investors and key government decision makers on a common platform to share and discuss various opportunities in over 10 different industry sectors. The conference will highlight opportunities opening up due to key events such as EXPO 2020 in UAE, opening up of Saudi Arabia Economy, closer UAE-India Business Relationships, Growth of Smart Cities & Digital Economies and untapped potential of African Continent.

The conference is supported by the Consulate General of India, Dubai and the Government of Maharashtra along with various chambers of commerce, business forums and trade associations and government entities. Senior level delegation from Government of Maharashtra are expected to attend the event.

The conference agenda will include a networking evening on Oct.12. On Oct.13, will be a day-long conference starting at 9am and will feature a list of senior business owners, decision-makers and eminent panelist who will share their insights on various business opportunities and challenges in their sectors and geographies.

On Oct.14, in association with Hamriya Free Zone, delegates will have an opportunity to visit the Free zone and meet their leadership team. The event will be attended by over 400 delegates from India, Gulf countries and Africa.

The event is conceptualised by GMBF Global, a forum with a member base of over 500 professionals and which has been actively working for over a decade facilitating and connecting businesses across these two regions.
