DUBAI: The organising committee of Emirates International Forensic Science Conference and Exhibition has announced the agenda of its first edition that will be held under the theme “Digital Forensic Science”. The Emirates Forensic Conference & Exhibition will be held under the patronage of Sheikh Hamdan Bin Mohammed Bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Crown Prince of Dubai and Chairman of the Board of Trustees at Dubai Future Foundation from April 2-4, at the Dubai International Convention & Exhibition Centre.
The conference serves as the ideal platform in the MENA region for exchange of experiences, for meeting experts, and for enriching knowledge and learning about the latest scientific research and international developments in the forensic medicine field. On the other hand, the parallel exhibition will help participants stay updated about the latest forensic analysis products, digital investigative services and equipment, and laboratory equipment, which will be showcased by more than 80 local and international companies.
Major General. Dr. Ahmad Eid Almansoori, General Director of Forensic Science and Criminology Dept., Dubai Police Hq reconfirmed the keenness of Dubai Police to keep abreast with developments and latest research in the field of criminal evidence and criminology, and to and to provide its cadres and specialised departments with all the technologies, equipment, and techniques that will support their daily tasks and help them fulfill their duties of protecting lives and maintaining safety and security. Dubai Police is also keen to provide educational opportunities for university students to take advantage of accredited CME points through the Emirates International Forensic Conference & Exhibition, and to provide experts in different fields with latest scientific research.”
He added, “The importance of such conferences comes from attracting prominent experts, professionals in this specialized field, students, and academics to exchange experiences and knowledge.”
