2 cars damaged in Al Ain mosque wall collapse

AL AIN: A wall of a mosque in Al Ain collapsed on Sunday, damaging two cars. No injuries were reported.  

The wall of the mosque's Imam's room collapsed near a private school in the city of Al Ain, coinciding with the end of school hours. The area is usually crowded with parents who come to pick up their children. Luckily no one was at the site

Two vehicles were damaged because they were in the shade adjacent to the mosque. The owners left their vehicles before the bricks and mortar fell.

The concerned authorities immediately rushed to the site. The necessary measures were taken to barricade the Imam's room until maintenance work was carried out.

The Imam of the mosque and his family were also moved to a hotel in Al Ain.
