ABU DHABI: The Ministry of Interior has called on public to report on violators of the residency and entry laws through the “Sahim Service” when the amnesty ultimatum granted to the illegal immigrants expires on Feb.4.

Major General Nasser bin Al Awadi Al Menhali, Assistant Undersecretary for the Naturalisation, Residency and Ports Affairs at the ministry, said the Sahim Service aims at increasing the awareness of individuals in the community on the need to report any violator of the entry and residency laws.

The public can call Sahim Service’s number: 80080 to report on the violators.

For his part, Brigadier Abdullah Ali Sahoo, Director General of the Residency and Foreign Affairs in Sharjah, said the inspection campaigns will be stepped up to crackdown on the illegal immigrants.
