SHARJAH: With the start of the Holy Month of Ramadan, also known as the month of giving and sharing, individuals and organisations, are gearing up to celebrate with a large number of planned activities.

The  organisations, have  been planning numerous charity activities and Iftar tents to benefit the majority.

The association is planning to collect funds and hand over around 500 food packages among needy families in the month of Ramadan and to help them to meet their kitchen needs without any difficulties.

Besides, the organisation has also launched a campaign and is asking philanthropists to donate funds that will be used for releasing inmates from jails who have been waiting for someone to pay their fines.

Shopping centres like Mercato embrace the Holy Month of Ramadan with beautiful and traditional Arabic style decorations to set the appropriate mood and ambience.
