Intl Transport Forum hosts UAE delegation

ABU DHABI: The UAE’s delegation led by Dr Abdullah Bin Mohammed Belhaif Al Nuaimi, Minister of Public Works and Chairman of the National Transport Authority and the Sheikh Zayed Housing Programme, has concluded its participation in the meetings of The International Transport Forum (ITF), which was recently held in Leipzig, Germany.

Dr Abdullah said that the UAE’s participation comes in the framework of strengthening the role of the UAE, its presence in gatherings and international forums and in implementation of the government’s agenda to set the UAE among the best countries in the world in all fields, in particular the transportation sector. He referred to the positive results of the objectives of this visit and participation in this forum, which is considered one of the largest global gatherings of the transport industry in the world.

Dr Abdullah was accompanied by Juma Mubarak Al Junaibi, UAE Ambassador to the Federal Republic of Germany (non-resident ambassador to the Republic of Latvia).

The agenda of the visit included a series of session and bilateral meetings with ministers and senior officials in the field of transport in the world, in addition to participating in many seminars and multilateral meetings related to the challenges that face the transport industry worldwide.
