Probe into Asian national’s fall to death commences

SHARJAH: Sharjah Police are investigating the death of an Asian national who fell to his death after from an elevated floor of one of the buildings located in Al Khan.

According to a police official, the police operation room received a call on Wednesday afternoon at around 12pm reporting the incident. An ambulance and CID team rushed to the scene and a probe was launched establish the circumstances surrounding the accident.

The official noted that many people facing psychological and financial challenges often commit suicide out of depression, “however, doing so is prohibited by all religions and any muslim who commits suicide is considered a disbeliever.” The official urged residents to seek help for any challenges as ending their lives is not a solution.
