RAS AL KHAIMAH: An Asian maid attempted to commit suicide on Saturday by swallowing drugs at her employer’s house in Al Ma’reedh area of Ras Al Khaimah.
According to sources at the Civil Defence of Ras Al Khaimah, the operations room of the police received a tip-off at 4pm on Saturday reporting the incident.
Instantly, an ambulance was rushed from the Civil Defence to the scene.
The officials found out that the maid, known as NSH, 29, who was working for a house had consumed a huge number of pills with a view to end her life.
They transferred her to Obaidullah hospital, where she received the required treatment.
