Sharjah: The Expo Centre Sharjah welcomed a delegation from the Uganda Plastics Manufacturer and Recyclers Association (UPMRA) for a visit during the “Plastivision Arabia 2017” exhibition. The exhibition was organised by the Centre, which concluded its fourth edition yesterday.

The delegation, led by Alfred Rwabugahya, Director of UPMRA, met Saif Mohamed Al Midfa, CEO of the Expo Centre Sharjah. The delegation was briefed on the specialised events that the Centre organised for the industrial sector throughout the year, in addition to the areas and prospects for future cooperation.

Saif Mohamed Al Midfa said, “The visit of the Ugandan delegation is a direct result of our active participation in the trade mission to East Africa, organised by the Sharjah Chamber of Commerce and Industry (SCCI) last week, as part of the Centre’s continuous efforts to attract more institutions, businesspeople and investors from the African market. “

Al Midfa welcomed the visit of UPMRA to the Plastivision exhibition, and pointed out that the visit is part of the Centre’s programme of hosting companies, traders and buyers from new and emerging markets, as well as providing support and facilities for them and encouraging them to participate in the events that are periodically organised or hosted by the Centre.
