DUBAI: The global epicentre of luxury fashion has shifted over the years in tune with the socio-economic prosperity, as Dubai is fast establishing its credentials among the world’s fashion capitals.

Over the course of history, London, Paris, Milan, Tokyo and Berlin have all asserted their dominance in the world fashion circuit, with Dubai closely securing the world’s top position when it comes to contemporary vogue.

Dubai’s home-grown enterprise, The House of Native has been conceived to address the growing needs in the world of fashion in this part of the region.

Rachna Malkani the Creative Director of “The House of Native” revealed that the GCC, particularly the UAE market has become one of the leading destinations for fashion trends. The House of Native recently launched the its new limited edition collection of luxurious bags under the name “Beauty Beyond the Obvious”.

Malkani’s inspiration behind this limited edition collection came to the designer from a subject that is close to her heart Special Kids dealing with Autism.

“We are free spirits driven by our spontaneity,” explains the creative designer Malkani.
