Ajman: Ajman Tourism Development Department (ATDD) has concluded its participation at ITB Berlin. In addition to promoting the Emirate and its diverse tourism attractions, activities and events at the world’s leading travel trade show, ATDD met with investors and industry experts to exchange ideas and explore global trends, developments and innovations.
Saleh Mohamed Al Geziry, ATDD Director General, said, “ITB Berlin was a great success. In addition to holding a number of productive meetings, we generated significant interest in the emirate’s tourism attractions and investment opportunities. In line with the UAE leadership’s directive to revive the country’s heritage, we also showcased forthcoming attractions and destinations including the Heritage District, a multipurpose project adjacent to Ajman Museum that will feature entertainment, retail and F&B outlets.”
ATDD also highlighted Marsa Ajman, a new waterfront destination with an amazing selection of restaurants and retail outlets. Marsa Ajman has a unique waterside promenade, the region’s largest interactive fountain and an arena that can accommodate 300 people for activities and entertainment.
His Excellency added, “ATDD’s strategy now involves a stronger focus on digital marketing and marketing agreements, and we are in the process of finalising a number of important agreements.”
ATDD’s co-exhibitors at ITB Berlin included Ajman Hotel, Ajman Saray - a Luxury Collection Resort, Bahi Ajman Palace Hotel, Fairmont Ajman, Lama Tours, Miracle Tourism Destination Touristic Services, Musandam Sea Adventure Travel & Tourism, Oberoi Beach Resort Al Zorah and Wyndham Garden Ajman Corniche.
