Abdullah Al Muwaiji, Chairman of Ajman Chamber of Commerce and Industry (ACCI) received a Korean economic delegation led by the South Korean Consul General Chun Young Wook, to explore paths of further accelerating economic cooperation and the most important investment opportunities available in Ajman and Korea. The visit also aimed to increase the trade volume between the two parties.
The meeting was attended by Nasser Al Dhafari, Executive Director of Planning and Member Support, and Marwan Hareb, Director of Business Promotion and Investment Development at Ajman Chamber, along with a number of businessmen and representatives of Korean companies in various fields.
During the meeting, Abdullah Al Muwaiji praised the strong economic relations between the UAE and Korea and the large volume of bilateral trade, which increases the chances of cooperation and partnership between businessmen and traders of both parties.
He stressed the importance of the meeting to benefit from the expertise and the economic capabilities available in Korea, pointing out that Ajman has promising opportunities in a number of important sectors, especially in light of the various components of the emirate such as the distinguished location and infrastructure that ensure sustainability and growth of projects.
He added that the education and health sectors enjoy unlimited support and attention from the government of Ajman providing important opportunities for the Korean educational and health institutions to invest in Ajman. Furthermore, the tourism industry in the emirate has become one of the most growing sectors in recent years, Al Muwaiji added. The participants stressed the need to hold bilateral meetings between traders and investors and the importance of participating in the specialized exhibitions held in Ajman and Korea.
