The Honourable Minister of Entrepreneur Development of Malaysia, YB Datuk Seri Mohd Redzuan Yusof has undertaken a working visit to du, Emirates Integrated Telecommunications Company (EITC), to launch Malaysian SMEs and Tourism advertising campaigns in UAE utilising du’s Digital Advertising Platforms. YB Datuk Seri Mohd Redzuan Yusof was received by Farid Faraidooni, Deputy CEO - Enterprise Solutions, EITC, and members of the company’s senior executive team.
“We believe that du’s digital advertising platforms can drive our commercial and strategic objectives of Malaysia’s promotion in the UAE”, said YB Datuk Seri Mohd Redzuan Yusof. “It is such an exciting times to launch this initiative with Malaysian government, it shows that our digital advertising services received attention from international advertisers to market their products and services in the UAE”, said Farid Faraidooni.
du has showcased how it can support and amplify the reach and success of Malaysian SMEs and the country’s tourism in the UAE. The visit included a demonstration at the Taxi Infotainment area of the Idea Hub. The service showcase illustrated the Dubai Taxi Corporation’s Taxi Infotainment Solution - a joint innovation between du and Gigalink, a company incubated by the Malaysian government - which provides an interactive digital screens exclusively inside the Dubai Airport Taxis both regular taxis and limousines that are serving 6 million trips and reach 15 million passengers per year.
Since its inception in 2018, the Idea Hub has hosted companies and government entities to encourage cooperation towards pioneering ICT technologies that digitally transform the social and economic landscapes of both the UAE and its diplomatic partners.
