The Ajman Chamber of Commerce and Industry (ACCI) has concluded the first learning station entitled “Innovation in Government Work”, offered by Mohammed Bin Rashid Centre for Government Innovation (MBRCGI) through “Edraak” platform. The 3-day-course was organised by the Development and Innovation Department with the participation of 24 employees at Ajman Living Lab-Ajman Digital Government.
Nasser Al Dhafri, Executive Director of Communication and Member Support Division at Ajman Chamber, said that the Chamber’s Board of Directors attaches special importance to support the innovation environment to be reflected on the Chamber’s internal performance and on the services offered to the business community in the Emirate of Ajman. Therefore, the Chamber established the Development and Innovation Department to realise its vision aimed reinforcing the economic sector in general, he added.
He also noted that the Department works within a methodology that places the Chamber’s employees among its top priorities, so it began its programmes with this course “Innovation in Government Work” which was dedicated to employees of Ajman Chamber. Through the course, it relied on the innovative training pattern using modern technology to enhance the concept of creative thinking for employees instead of the traditional style, Al Dhafri added.
He further thanked the Ajman Digital Government for the support provided to organise this course in the Ajman Living Lab, which is considered a distinctive addition in the emirate. It helps stimulate the environment of creativity reflecting the guidance of wise leadership in providing the means and tools that contribute to the development of innovation plans.
