Marco Vidal, CEO, The Merchant of Venice told Gulf Today that The Merchant of Venice was launched over five years ago, but the foundation for its philosophy – spreading an appreciation for Venetian perfuming art – was laid many centuries before.
Vidal is a fourth-generation member of one of Italy’s most prominent perfumery families, which has been involved in scents, soaps and spices since Angelo Vidal established his Profumi trade company in 1900. He mentioned that The Merchant of Venice is present in around 40 countries of the world and they are planning to expand further amid huge demand.
Vidal noted that he sees huge potential in the Dubai fragrance market and last year they opened its first-ever international boutique in Dubai Mall.
He noted that Dubai was close to host Expo 2020, adding that The Merchant of Venice is planning a new edition dedicated to the mega event.
The Merchant of Venice represents unique and sophisticated perfume lines suitable for every occasion and for both genders.
