Dubai Land Department (DLD) is to enhance and consolidate its relationship with its partners. Aiming to strengthen its relationship with the partners and to appreciate their roles, DLD organised the annual forum to honour the various partners who contributed to the success of Dubai Real Estate Institute (DREI’s) achievements during 2019.
At the beginning of the forum, a short video was played to highlight DREI’s mission and future plans, in line with Dubai’s national strategies and those of the UAE in general, in addition to the vital role DREI plays in preparing specialised real estate competencies in the real estate market in Dubai, the UAE, and the region, which contributes to improving real estate practices in general.
DLD through Dubai Real Estate Institute (DREI) at the forum appreciated the roles of its partners.
The forum was attended by Sultan Butti Bin Mejren, Director General of DLD; Hend Al Marri, CEO of DREI; CEOs of DLD’s sectors; and a large number of DLD’s employees.
Sultan Butti bin Mejren commented: “DLD, with its various sectors, divisions, and departments, realises with certainty that success is a team effort, which can be achieved by working in team spirit. This is what drives us to strengthen our relationships with our partners in various fields to effectively contribute to our successful journey over the past 60 years since our inauguration. Thanks to the active participation of a distinguished group of partners across all fields, DLD was able to continuously improve its services to its customers, achieving high levels of satisfaction and happiness for all parties in the real estate sector by focusing on spreading transparency in all of our operations and relationships.”
Bin Mejren added: “We affirm that DREI, through its specialised cadres and high-level academic body, attained remarkable achievements, contributing to the advancement of the expertise and qualifications of those working in the real estate sector as well as the spread of real estate knowledge among society, in addition to qualifying Emirati nationals to join the market.”
During her welcoming speech at the forum, Hend Al Marri said: “Last year was a success by all standards, and the figures we achieved prove this. We were able to organise 240 training sessions, attended by 8,600 trainees, 400 of whom were Emirati citizens. We also provided 50 scholarships -50 trainers and lecturers participated in giving the courses -launched 41 educational initiatives, and attracted 700 trainees to our online course. We take note of our previous successes and look toward the future to consolidate the importance of training despite rapid developments, and we emphasise its continuity to anticipate and shape the future.”
At the end of the forum, Bin Mejren honoured DREI’s 14 partners from private and public institutions inside and outside the UAE, most prominently Dubai Real Estate Court - Dubai Courts, the Ministry of Justice, the General Directorate of Civil Defence in Dubai, Dubai Police, Hamdan Bin Rashid Al Maktoum Foundation for Distinguished Academic Education, Ministry of Human Resources and Emiratisation, Dubai College of Tourism, and Sharjah Real Estate Registration Department.
The honouring ceremony also included faculty members who represent the success pillar for all courses and seminars, in addition to a group of 32 students, each of whom deserves the title of ‘Distinguished Student’ for attaining full marks.
The Dubai Land Department (DLD), will organise the 16th edition of the International Property Show (IPS) 2020, at the Dubai World Trade Centre from March 24th to 26th, 2020, amid high optimism that new government policies and the Expo 2020 Dubai will drive the growth of the emirate’s property market in 2020 and beyond.
