A well-known Emirati, Dr Yaqoub Mousa, Chairman, Bu Abdullah Group of Companies, has been recently crowned at the 6th Atal Awards 2019 at the Lok Sabha (Parliament House) in New Delhi for his contribution in the field of business, humanity and services towards the nation and expats’ community.
Dr Yaqoub is the first Emarati, who was awarded in the presence of Shri Faggan Singh Kulaste Union State Minister of the Ministry of Steel, Shyam Jaju Vice President of Bharat Janata Party, Chandreshwar Prasad Thakur Former Minister in the Government of India and Bhuvanesh Singhal, Programme Head.
“Firstly, I thank the Indian government and top management of BJP to appreciate my works and bestow this honour upon me,” Dr Yaqoub said.
“The UAE-India ties are on solid growth track and are marching ahead. “
“It adds to my strength to continue my services for the society with all the more compassion and commitment. What I have learnt in my life is from the great land of UAE and I shall continue to give back to the mankind following the footsteps and vision of my great leaders. It is indeed a happy moment for me, and I am truly humbled to accept this great honor,” he added.

He was awarded as the Young Emarati Entrepreneur by Sheikh Nahyan Mubarak Al Nahyan at the 1st Tolerance and Humanitarian Awards. He was also crowned with ‘Dynamic Emarati Entrepreneur 2019 Award’ at the Indo Arab Awards by Ramdas Bandu Minister of state for social justice and Empowerment
