The Sharjah Chamber of Commerce & Industry (SCCI) has revealed that the shopping malls and retail stores participating in the “Sharjah Shopping Promotions” campaign, the emirate’s largest trade event for this year, have dedicated up to Dhs2 million prizes for the shoppers during the weekly raffle draws which will be held from Jan.8 to Feb.12, 2021.
In a statement, the SCCI called the emirate residents and visitors to actively participate in the campaign events, which kicked off on Dec.17, 2020 and lasts continues till Feb.13, and make the most of the amazing deals offered so that they can have greater chances to win valuable prizes and gift vouchers.

The raffle draws will be held in some of the shopping malls and central markets, including Souq Sharq in Khorfakkan, Sahara Centre, Mega Mall, City Centr,e Zawaya Walk, and Al Majaz Waterfront.
There will be a weekly live show at 8pm every Friday on Sharjah TV to broadcast the activities and events of the Promotions, where 120 lucky shoppers will have a chance to win Dhs2 million worth of prizes, including 7 premium cars, gift vouchers, cash prizes, high-end perfumes, and bikes valued Dhs300,000, while the shopping malls offered a number of valuable prizes, including 4 luxury cars, cash, and in-kind prizes.
Ibrahim Rashid Al Jarwan, Director, SCCI Economic Relations and Marketing, said, "Sharjah Shopping Promotions is one of the largest commercial events through which the SCCI is seeking to bring joy and happiness to the visitors and residents and pave the way for them to explore the emirate’s tourist attractions and sightseeing."
Al Jarwan added that the Shopping Promotions campaign is coinciding with various promotional events and activities, including the ‘World's Coolest Winter’ campaign, something that places greater importance to the campaign in terms of bolstering the retail sector, boosting sales activity, and reinvigorating the hospitality and domestic tourism sector.
