The UAE has taken a leadership role in the Middle East region with the government sector leading the charge in technology adoption. Dubai has largely been responsible for changing the mindset when it comes to adopting new technologies.
Saphyte, a Dubai-based tech company that provides digital ecosystems to local businesses, has announced that it has won two awards on separate occasions.
The company was awarded Digitization Software of the Year during the E-Business Awards 2021, an event organised by Entrepreneur Middle East in association with the Dubai Chamber of Commerce and Industry and Dubai Startup Hub at Sofitel Dubai The Obelisk and a day later the CIO 300 award was given to Kevin Lopez, Saphyte’s Systems Managing Director, during the CIO 300 Awards 2021, an event hosted by CPI Media Group and tahawultech.com.
“We’ve been pushing ourselves very hard, all-year-round, and especially during the pandemic, to create solutions to the challenges experienced by our local business partners,” said Jamie Bueno, Saphyte’s Head of Admin and Support. “We are proud to be recognized as Digitization
Software of the Year by E-Business Awards. This win is a testament to the hard work and dedication of our teams from around the world. Together, we continue to help our clients navigate the new normal and explore opportunities provided by our technology.”
CIO 300 awardee, Kevin Lopez, is also grateful for being recognized as part of the region’s chief information officers who displayed outstanding leadership, vision, and innovation over the last 12 months. “This is an award that extends to the entire Saphyte team. We are very pleased to be recognized by the judges of CIO 300 and to be awarded for our efforts in the region. We promise to continue to spark innovation and promote the use of technology to accelerate growth in the Middle East especially after the pandemic.”
