A number of new shopping and entertainment destinations are opening their doors ahead of Eid Al Fitr for residents to enjoy their long Eid holidays.
The Majid Al Futtaim, the leading shopping mall, communities, retail, and leisure pioneer across the Middle East, Africa and Asia, today opened its first hybrid cinema and family entertainment centre (FEC) at Wafi City. The state-of-the-art entertainment hub spans two floors and comprises VOX Cinemas, the Middle East’s most innovative and fastest growing exhibitor, integrated with Magic Planet, the regionally award-winning family entertainment centre.
As travel restrictions easing across the world, Carrefour has opened a new store at the world’s busiest international airport, DXB, to make shopping more convenient than ever. Located in the arrivals area of DXB’s Terminal 3, the 24-hour store opened its doors for frequent fliers and the local community.
Eugene Barry, Dubai Airports’ Executive Vice President - Commercial, commented: “As the primary gateway to Dubai, Terminal 3 arrivals at DXB is an incredibly important part of our airport, and for many of our guests, it is their first taste of Dubai and the UAE. When we were redesigning the arrivals area, we carefully selected service and hospitality partners who shared this vision. We are delighted to work alongside Majid Al Futtaim, and to welcome Carrefour to the DXB family. At Dubai Airports, we are heavily focused on responding to travellers’ needs through meaningful products and services, and we look forward to this new concept appealing to both inbound visitors and returning residents alike.”
