Ajman Chamber of Commerce and Industry and the Arab-Brazilian Chamber of Commerce during a meeting discussed investment opportunities available in various fields.
Both sides agreed to enhance cooperation in order to increase the intra-trade and to open horizons for partnerships between businessmen and investors.
Abdullah Al Muwaiji, Chairman of the Ajman Chamber of Commerce and Industry, received a delegation from the Arab-Brazilian Chamber of Commerce.
The delegation included Rafael Solimeo-Head of International Offices for Mena, and Shaheen Ali Shaheen, Regional Adviser for the GCC Countries, Iraq and Yemen
Among the attendees was Nasser Al Dhafri-Executive Director of the Communication and Member Support.
During the meeting, Abdullah Al Muwaiji emphasised the depth of the bilateral relations between the two countries, praising the available investment opportunities, especially in light of the diversity of the economic ingredients owned by both the UAE and Brazil.
He explained that the Ajman Chamber is keen to strengthen its cooperation with the international economic entities that support the development of investments and increase the volume of economic cooperation.
The attendees reviewed the most prominent investment opportunities available and the possibility of benefiting from them, stressing the need to benefit from Expo 2020 and to hold direct meetings between stakeholders to establish mechanisms for future cooperation in all economic fields.
It was also pointed out that the trade volume between the UAE and Brazil during 2020 reached more than $2.78 billion, as the goods imported from Brazil were meat, gold and aluminium, while the exports from UAE to Brazil were jewellery, iron, plastics and coal.
